Not once has any of the artists we blog about ever messaged us about not giving them credit. And if they ever did I’d be more than happy to put their link under their work. Like Amanda and I have said plenty of times we just don’t have the time to trace back every picture. Here’s a link to the site we use (http://weheartit.com/) trace it back yourself if you’d like. Oh and Sophy Robson you are a nasty person. “I dont really care that much as my following and blog will always be better than yours.” Wowww how old are you? because you sound like you’re in middle school and apparently you do care considering you took the time to message us. Anyways I’m off to work… another long day ahead of me. Hope everyone has a great weekend :)
Well how funny you used Naomis rainbow nails picture but dont want to educate your followers about her.
Its sad there are blogs like yours on Tumblr - you claim to be lovers of nail art but you dont play by the rules. I dont really care that much as my following and blog will always be better than yours. And I already have a very successful career in nails but I just thought I would point out that I saw what you did and I dont rate it. Have a good life!
This is absolutely ridiculous, Sophy. Honestly how many times do I have to say - THE PICTURES ARE FROM WEHEARTIT, I DO NOT KNOW THE PERSON IN THE PICTURE, THE CREATOR OF THE PICTURE, AND I SAVE ALL THE PICTURES AT ONCE SO I DO NOT KNOW THE LINKS. I don’t even know Naomi! If your blog is so much better, then why are you wasting time on ours? Don’t you have something better to do? Why don’t you let us run the blog the way we want to.. and you can run yours the way you want to. “It’s sad there are blogs like yours on Tumblr?” Yes, Tumblr is great but it is not the be all and end all. It is a blog website. A website. Give it a rest. I appreciate the followers who are inspired by our blog and share their love. You are bitter and please do not message us again. We don’t care what you have to say.
To add on to emlocke's statement; I know you guys already had a BIG discussion/nasty anon fight about this issue but if you could at least link the picture to the page on weheartit that you got it from, it would make the picture trackable and be more considerate to the creator. Weheartit is trying to be a legitimate image site (by competing with ffffound and such) and the only way to do that is if people can keep their creative rights of ownership and credit the originator. Besides the issue of rights, its also good to link to the original so if people want to meet up, collaborate, or form a community through their expressions on the internet, they can do so.
Anna and I both save a bunch of pictures from the site at once, and later upload them - making it not so easy to link every picture. They’re usually all tagged under “nails” on weheartit and can just be found that way. Please stop with the all of these recommendations. I don’t have that much time to sit on the computer and relax, as I am a full time student and babysitter. Anna is also a full time employee, and we simply do not have enough time to sit here and link every single picture. All of the pictures on weheartit have been blogged, blogged, and reblogged some more.
That glittery OPI colour is 'Mad As A Hatter' from the 2010 Alice in Wonderland collection. It looks like it has been layered over black. It is a very popular rare colour that sells for ridiculous prices on sites like ebay.
